We receive the school reports each term for the children we sponsor, and the children often write, telling about their life and expressing their thanks to their sponsors better than I ever can:
After being at home for the whole nine months due to the mysterious pandemic, we reopened our school early on the fourth of January. Our teachers made up for the syllabus with their own supersonic speed. We sit for a contest each and every week for all subjects with which I have boosted my performance.
Words cannot explain how appreciative I am of your gift. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sponsoring me through my studies this far.
I would like to take this opportunity to give you thanks for what you have been doing for me since the day you took away my pain and gave me a chance to laugh and be happy again with my education.
Thank you very much for the kindness you are still showing me.
I would like to say thank you for giving me an opportunity to be in school throughout which will enable me to become an influential doctor and person who will change the world eventually.
This second term has really been a great opportunity for me to acquire more knowledge academically, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I believe (the school) has equipped me with both learning and life skills.
This wouldn’t be so without your help.
I would like to thank you so much for this opportunity to be constantly present in school.
And some show remarkable responsibility for their efforts:
I would like to apologise for my poor performance in the opening exam of the term. I was relaxed due to the long break and did not get in the school mood, causing me to have a hard time coping. However, I have decided to pull up my socks for the second exam and believe that it paid off.
