These Year 10 and 11 pupils, meet each week to plan and carry out a number of charitable fundraising events that support their local community and promote international understanding. The group is mentored by St Albans Priory Rotary Club and develop their leadership skills through organising events and activities throughout the school year. They have raised funds to sponsor one young Kenyan boy (Phelix) through his final two years at secondary school. They’ve enjoyed receiving his school reports and following his progress. This support means he can complete his schooling and sit final KCSE exams … and maybe go on to university.
